What the figures are

Every figure is copied or worked out from official open data: the Ontario Financial Information Return, Statistics Canada, the Ontario Road Network and the open data some cities publish. Each page names its source and the year of each figure. GlocalWiki is independent and is not affiliated with any government.

They are not advice

The figures are for reference. They are not tax, legal, financial, real estate or planning advice. Your own tax bill depends on your assessment from MPAC and on decisions your council makes each year, so check with your municipality before you decide anything. For zoning, check the permitted uses for the exact property with the municipality before you buy or sign a lease.

Accuracy

We check the published figures against the source data, but mistakes can happen and the sources themselves are sometimes corrected later. If you find a mistake, please tell us at hello@glocalwiki.com and we will check it against the source. The site is provided as it is, without any promise that every figure is complete, correct or current. To the extent the law allows, GlocalWiki is not responsible for losses that come from using it.

Reusing what you find

The underlying data stays under its own open licence, listed on the privacy page and on each page. You are welcome to quote our figures and pages with a link back to the page you used.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
